Vibrant Iceland Hostel is a new and modern hostel in the Greater Reykjavík area.
We offer premium featured enclosed bunk beds with curtains for added privacy and reading lights in shared dorm rooms.
Our custom built bunk beds are both single (90×200 cm) and double (140×200 cm). Our single dorm rooms are 6, 8 and 12 bunk beds in a room and our double dorm rooms are 4 and 6 double bunk beds in a room. Our dorms are all co-ed/mixed shared dorm rooms but we also offer a Girls Only dorm room.
Social and fun
Vibrant Iceland Hostel proudly offers modern facilities, like private hotel-grade showers, fast Wi-Fi and a large, fully equipped kitchen with free fresh bean coffee and a variety of teas daily for all guests. In your room, you can expect state-of-the-art custom built bunk beds with an added element of privacy, all bed linens are provided and included in your booking. Towels and other amenities are available for an additional fee.

Vibrant Iceland Hostel is located in Hafnarfjordur, around 8 km (5 miles) from Reykjavik City Center, 40 km (25 miles) from the KEF International Airport. We are the ideal location for travelers who want to experience culturally rich and unique local scenes in addition to the large capital city of Reykjavik. Though off the beaten path, we are the perfect place for travelers who are looking to experience local culture in the capital with quick and convenient access to Iceland’s countryside.

Au top, je recommande ! Une auberge située à 15min du centre ville de Reykjavik (en voiture), avec tous commerces à côté pour se nourrir et un petit pub pour la détente ! Le personnel est jeune, souriant, à l'écoute et agréable. Les chambres et salle de bain sont propres, l'avantage est qu'il est interdit de circuler en chaussure dans les parties communes et dans les chambres, ainsi, cela permet de ne pas avoir de terre ou autre tout le temps ! La cuisine est tout équipé pour les novices comme les confirmés ! Grandes tables, propices à de supers rencontres, et petit plus : Le café et le thé sont à disposition ce qui permet de se retrouver le matin ou en fin d'après-midi dans la salle à manger commune pour discuter avec les autres vacanciers ! Ayant loué une voiture, je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de me renseigner sur les lignes de bus, mais pour tous véhicules, un parking gratuit est à disposition !
The door is locked 24/7. I arrived at 8pm. There was no staff at the desk then, or all night. When staff finally came, they harassed me. I dont recommend this hostel at all. Get ready to starve. Everything closes at 9pm. Bring food. Guests are nice and friendly. Staff are difficult and superficial. Complaining about the very tourist that give them a job. They made me super uncomfortable. Your first feeling is I am stranded in the middle of nowhere.
Friendly staff Clean and comfortable facilities There's privacy in the dorm rooms The showers are awesome The hostel, overall, is just great, and I would not hesitate to recommend and stay here again. Easiest 10/10 review from me.
By far, one of the best hostels I've been to. I love how homey the feel is. The beds are spacious and clean. The hostel is very clean. The bathrooms are wide and clean. Everything is just looking amazing, even the their full kitchen and common area. This is definitely worth it to visit.
