Spoon and the Stars hostel, is an early 18th century building which still holds its original features like the sash windows, shutters, large front door, interior woodwork and stairway.
Drogheda is an old walled town located in the Historical Boyne Valley just 20 mins from Dublin airport and 10mins from Newgrange, Monasterboice, Slane Castle,The Battle of the Boyne,Mellifont Abbey,Millmount and Bettystown (The gold coast of the east coast) and many other beaches stretching 14km

Spoon and the Stars Hostel holds atmosphere and safety in high regard so all our guests can feel at home and comfortable in their surroundings. We have lots of communal areas inside and out with some great little spaces like our cave!!!!

From Dublin to Drogheda (approx. 45 mins):
Follow the signs for the M1 Belfast, after around 20 minutes take the turn of at junction 7 for Julianstown / Drogheda South. Follow the signs for Drogheda town centre. Carry on down the Dublin Road under the bridge and past the train station on your right until you see the signs for' spoon and the stars' on your left.We are beside Senator windows and Enterprise Rent-a-Car. 5 mins walk from the bus & train station
