We maintain high standards of cleanliness in our hostel & have been in business for nearly 30 years.
We're an excellent choice for any group as well, including school, sport, cycling, adventure, retreat & family groups.

Our hostel has been in business since 1990 & is modeled after the hostels in Australia & Europe. We've recently added AC in all rooms & are always looking for new & interesting ways to keep up with the times.
Located in a delightful coastal area of Hilo & on the $2 bus route.

Proof of outward-bound air travel will be requested.
Credit card & reservation name, need to be the same. Guests must present a valid photo ID.
Quiet hours are enforced between 10:00p.m.-7:30 a.m.
We are not a party hostel.
Our front desk closes at 5:00 pm. No late check ins after 8:00pm. Any check-ins requested after 8:00 p.m. will be assessed a fee of $20 per half hour. Please note that if your flight arrives in Kona (KOA) after 6:00 p.m., that you will not be able to make it to our lodge in Hilo in time for check-in. We will not accept check-ins after 9:00 p.m.
