Hostel El Puesto

Amazing hostel. Cheapest in town. Really homely feel. The living room is awesome, there is a guitar, large table, sound system where you can plug in a music playing device, comfy couches and tv. There is also a garden with pool. Must be really nice in summer. The owners were incredibly generous to us and let us stay an extra night even though the hostel was supposed to be shut down because they had a family emergency. We essentially had the whole place to ourselves. It was like staying in a friends house.

Lovely hostel that feels more like a b&b. Run by a couple, he is Spanish and she is Australian, so you can speak both English and Spanish. They also have a very cute dog which loves to play with you near the swimming pool. The rooms are clean and big. There's a large garden in which you can have your own asado's.

Very good space and decoration. the owner are very friendly and cool.

The place to stay in San Antonio de Areco!

Very friendly staff - so helpful with activities and places to see and visit in the town. That was especially nice since we visited in low season, and there was not much open.. The hostel is located very central in the little town, and is in walking distance to restaurants, museums, bus station and the main square.

Great little place. Very homely. Run by a young couple - Philipe (local) and his wife Sally (Australian), plus their very friendly dog called Tao. They offered a very warm welcome, excellent service and a clean comfortable place to stay. Nice garden with pool for warm weather days. Great local information. San Antonio is a cute little town where you can hang out in traditional old pubs (pulperias) and restaurants with the locals and engage with criollo/gaucho culture, nearby you can have a fun day on an estancia including horse riding. The real Argentina! Loved it, want to go back!

The place is really nice. The garden is great and we really enjoyed the swimming pool, just fantastic. The shared rooms are big, you get clean sheets and towels. The kitchen was clean, which was really good, and you have everything you need to cook there, and many space to sit and relax. The house is beautiful.

Puesto Hostel is a very nice place to stay, not just for one night as we did. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The hostel as itself is very beautiful with a very cosy living room and a good kitchen and new bathrooms. In addition you have a big garden with swimming pool, where you can have your breakfast....

This is a wonderful spot to relax!!! If you want a day or two outside of BA this is perfect! Great horse riding organised by the Hostel and you may even be joined by a real Gaucho:)

lovely hostel, full of character with beautiful high ceilings and a really homely feel. swimming pool in the garden too! such a pretty town and the owner very helpful in organising a trip out to a estancia for us. definitely recommend!
